Why is writing about yourself the hardest thing to do? I just actually washed dishes to procrastinate having to write this paragraph!! Seriously. Dishes.
OK, here goes...I'm a financial consultant (I know, the most vague job description known to man, right?). I've gotten to travel to some pretty cool places - both in the US and abroad - And I've gotten to take some great vacations on points and miles! But there is no place like home and the flights home are always my favorite. My goal now is to use my saved up miles to do an around-the-world trip one day.
I enjoy being with friends doing all kinds of activities (shocker right? I'm sure you've never heard that on here before?) from seeing movies to lazy days on the couch to trail running to camping and hiking. My friends are great, but we're not joined at the hip. I don't need to be surrounded by them all the time to have a great time... I am the type of guy who will turn off his iPhone and just hang out with you. I love Braves games and college football but you loving them is not 100% necessary for a match.
I have a dry sense of humor and value sarcasm and witty banter. I help run a non-profit program and am committed to volunteer work - I know everyone says that they enjoy volunteer work but I genuinely enjoy doing it and think it helps balance out the demands of work and whatever else is going on in life. Even though I generally eat healthy, I love splurging at new restaurants and adventuring into new areas of town - thank you ScoutMob!
I am active and enjoy working out but dread and avoid treadmills and elliptical machines- yes I am a CrossFitter but don't let the reputation fool you - I am not 100% drinking the koolaid. I enjoy cooking (but not as much fun when cooking for one). I have two awesome nephews and love spoiling them when I get the chance.
I like being the guy: I'll open the door for you, I'll be polite, I'll walk you to the door at the end of the date, but if you read this before I get to you, nothing is as hot as a woman taking initiative so send me a hello!
