About Me

I lived in Boulder for 3 years before moving to Denver at the beginning of this year. I go to school and work part time. I have a lot of hobbies and I love to travel when I can, especially exploring the western half of the US. I love driving down random old highways or routes instead of taking the interstate. I like to explore and love finding obscure and weird places. I love old buildings and unique architecture. History and antiquity are subjects that consume a significant portion of my independent reading and netflix viewing (I don't have cable). I love going to concerts. Whether it's four consecutive phish shows on a summer tour or a Sunday night bluegrass, jazz or funk show at Quixote's, I love going out to dance and have a good time. I love music. I love making music. I play guitar and dabble in other things. I'm pretty modest about most things, but pride myself on my taste in music. I have a great family and awesome friends. I am grateful to have them in my life everyday. I have a 5 year old Italian Greyhound mix, whose name is Penny Lane. She is incredible. Dogs are amazing creatures and I don't know where I would be without her. I like to be around people who spread good vibes and positivity. I'm drawn to people who are eccentric, unique, intelligent and creative. I don't usually have a difficult time making new friends.. However, sometimes if it's a pretty girl, I can be somewhat timid. I just hate awkward situations and therefore don't really know how to meet girls. I can talk all day/night in a situation where I'm comfortable. If I've been introduced to a girl by a mutual acquaintance or by random circumstance it's one thing, but other than that I don't know how I would approach beginning a conversation with someone random, which is why I guess I am here on the interweb. I'm passionate, witty, loyal and caring. I like spontaneity and flexibility. I'm driven to accomplish my goals and I work hard everyday in an effort to do so, but life is too short to be high strung. I try to take the time everyday to stop and smell the roses, taking time to truly appreciate every intricate detail of all the beauty that surrounds us. I'm a gentleman who believes that romance and honesty are two of the most important and integral factors in a relationship. Meeting the girl of my dreams at a bar doesn't seem likely. The grocery store... not plausible. I'm not looking for a one night stand. I never have, I never will. I want something with substance. Something that grows into something incredible. I want to find my best friend, soul mate and partner in crime.
