Lover of life, perpetually/insatiab ly curious and love learning, deeply sensitive and caring while being strong physically, emotionally and mentally, love to demonstrate my feelings and love being cared for loved in actions not just in words. It is my belief that success is far more about, metaphorically speaking, what cards we play than the hands that we are dealt, thus why the harder and smarter one works, the luckier they seem to get! Extraordinarily well traveled, extensive background early on and ongoing with computers and investing, enjoy more than just the English language, love consuming and collecting wine, adore all aspects of the ocean (SCUBA diving, fishing, boating, etc.) and nature, love taking long and vigorous walks as well as gentle strolls, enjoy repairing/arranging all sorts of things (automobiles, electric, plumbing, landscaping, gardening, etc.) am interested in trustworthy, honest, nurturing, compassionate, fun, playful, communicative and capable people who can appreciate the depth of struggles that some of us have had to endure, someone who enjoys celebrating so many of the incredible, beautiful, fun and exciting parts of life while appreciating such through the recollection of absence, a deeper appreciation. Though wishing that looks do not matter (have exhausted myself trying to make it so early on in life), looks honestly do matter to me and it is a big part of physical attraction in addition to chemistry, but certainly not the only thing. Certainly the beauty inside each of us is what really makes the life-long difference as physical beauty does change. Women with depth of self, character and sensitivity, often forged through difficulty while retaining a deeply honest, pure and loving self is something that attracts me a great deal. Being solid in who you are and yet flexible to reach all aspects of who you can/may become, while remaining content in who you are today is a great combination. Beyond physical attraction, friendship, quite like the foundation of a building, is where solid, stable and lasting things have the greatest chances of ongoing success from my current perspective. Wouldn't it be great if there were no flaws... but there are and what one does with these realities are essential. Despite lots of hard and ongoing work, trusting people is very difficult for me, especially more recently and also admitting mistakes immediately and entirely remains challenging but is much improved and getting even better with age/wisdom. These are the major negatives (ok... sometimes narcissistic), happy to share more when we chat. Suppose honesty starts and includes even the messy truths of one's essence :). While I too am searching for the right one, most will not be and yet this is neither a problem nor discouraging reality for me as each person reading this has the potential of being a real friend and this, to me, is not a bad consolation prize from such pursuits. Oh yeah, I write too much!
