it's tempting to do the, "i never thought i'd join a dating site," but i don't take myself all that seriously...at the end of the day, we're probably all here b/c meeting people at bars has lost appeal...so, this could be a fun new way to meet people
i'm a recently retired stand-up comic...i still ghostwrite a bit and am working on a novel...i've also recently become a lawyer...i'm in a transition phase right now...i know the difference b/w "pique," "peak," and "peek" AND the difference b/w "your" and "you're"
i'm considerate and perceptive, random and witty...i'm very close w/ my parents...i like serious conversations as well as silly ones...i have a shy side...i like to try new restaurants, but i also like to stay home and chill in front of my tv...i have impeccable table manners, i don't make smacking noises while eating, those who do that w/ their lips should be sentenced to a medium security prison...each smacking sound = one year behind bars
although it'd be cool to find a woman who shares all of the same interests as me, that's probably not realistic, and i think that mutual respect is more important than mutual interests anyhow...overall, i'd be happy w/ a smart woman who has a positive outlook on life and can laugh w/ me and challenge me
