Adventurous living and fun trips are what keep my life exciting. From biking to hiking and everything in between, there’s nothing like feeling the breeze and the sun on my skin. Even better if I’m by the water!
Since I love the water, I’ll often head to a reservoir, like the one at Rockport State Park, or Causey Resevoir in Ogden. Those are great places to go kayaking with friends or by mysef. If I’m traveling domestically, I visit Lake Tahoe, San Diego, Durango, Chicago, San Juan Islands. In fact, one time when I went to Vegas to visit a friend, we ended up going on a road trip to San Felipe, Mexico — all the way to the ocean! We had a great time making friends with the locals. I’m hoping my next trip away will bring me back to the coast, maybe in the form of a drive along the California or Oregon coast — I’ll take any opportunity to get away. Other travel spots include Glacier,Yellow Stone, Zion National Parks, the borders of Montana and the Dominican Republican, where I got my hair braided (yes, all of it!). But my absolute favorite thing to do is bike, and I often do cycling trips with friends. I’ve spent the last year training for LOTOJA in September, and t did the MS bike ride over the summer. But I’m not always on the go to relax, you’ll probably find me at a concert. I love live music, especially if it’s outdoors. I just saw Jimmy Cliff!
