My name is Mohamed Deen. I am from Sierra Leone. I move to Washington DC. When I was 19 years old. I get into art when I was Freedom High school at that time. I was influence with my own art skills at the age of 16 years old. I start making my own drawing and making my own talent shows for my middle schools and high schools. I also get deeper into art and poetry when I was around 20 years old.
Most of my art is portraits and landscapes with an infusion of Sierra Leonean culture – things I remember from my childhood. Also I do sketches, using pen point and circle point to add texture and color. My artwork is very colorful and covers a variety of topics.
