About Me
Intelligent, thoughtful, well-rounded. Genuine and authentic. I have a dry, sarcastic wit. People who don't know me often misinterpret this.
I wonder and am curious about a myriad of subjects. I love nothing better than wandering through a bookstore, antique gallery, or museum. My work is not my life getting out in nature helps me to refocus on "what is really real" (Van Morrison). Besides fly-fishing, I frequently take my dog hiking with me.
I'm not someone who has to be doing something every minute, or he isn't happy. Sometimes I refer to that syndrome exaggeratedly as "juggling while running an ultra-marathon". "Type A's" please move on. I very much like to take time to "smell the roses". That's because I've smelled some remarkable roses over the years, and can't imagine having missed those experiences.
A few more tidbits:
I admit when I'm wrong, and I apologize.
I put the toilet seat down.
I will stop and ask for directions when I'm lost. Honest!
I take my coffee black, and my Jack Daniels on the rocks.
