About Me

For one of my college essays, I had to choose a single adjective to describe myself... Today, I'd choose as many as I want! Adventuresome. Open-hearted. Passionate. Fun-loving. Energetic. Devoted. (That other one still applies, too. But I'm not giving it away here. :) I am younger than my years in body, mind, and spirit, with youngish children (11 and 14). Looking for another energetic grown-up who knows himself well, and is still in touch with the playful, curious child inside. I love to move—swimming, dancing, hiking, cycling, skiing, running (well, my achilles has slowed the running lately). Essentially an extrovert, I'm generally on the move—too much, sometimes—and am always ready for a night out and to go some place new. I am an extremely spiritual person, with an active Jewish life and regular time in meditation, study/learning, and exploration. I'm a singer and lifelong seeker with the great fortune to serve myself and others through music. (Ask me about my recent honor by a great rebbe.) What gives me the most juice, still, is deep connection with others. I love times around the table, talking late into the night. I love sharing nature! Hiking, camping, skiing—just about anything outdoors makes me happy. I devote my life force to my boys, my close friends, my family, my work, spiritual practice, music, staying healthy and sane through exercise, and engaging consciously with this experience of being a spirit in a body. It's a full and blessed life, and I am so very grateful. Still, I feel a longing for intimacy, for companionship and connection. A longing for romance and partnership. Ready and waiting...
