About Me

I’m a devoted mom of two fantastic kids (a son-7, and a daughter-7) who despite repeated life setbacks still views the world and its inhabitants optimistically. I’m sensitive, (often shedding happy tears at family events), loyal, (willing to compromise, support, and meet my partner half way), adventurous, (having repeatedly jumped from airplanes and traversed rapids solo), analytical, (tending to observe, research, contemplate, and then act), and self-sufficient, (choosing to work hard and tackle life’s problems on my own or hire the appropriate people to fix what needs fixing). Nature and God continually inspire me, giving me strength when I need it most. I value learning via travel, study, new activities and experiences, and new people. And while I truly treasure laughter and play time, I find it equally rewarding to give back by helping to repair our broken world. My future partner, I hope, will be a mensch, an all around good guy who values honesty, open communication, treating me as an equal, open mindedness, being loving, fitness, and health. This mensch will want to know and understand me completely as I will want to know him and will inspire me to become a better person. I’ll be the first to admit I’m not perfect. I’m definitely a work in progress, but I truly want to improve, especially for the sake of my children and for the success of a future relationship. And since I do have children, I’m hoping my future partner will understand the demands of parenthood and will love my children as I do, a long time down the road, of course, after we are sure of our own status. Even though I am interested in moving forward, I am in no hurry. My current life is rewarding and full. I’m willing to wait to find the perfect guy.
