About Me
I am fairly new to the DC metro area and brand-spankin' new to this sort of thing. Last weekend, friends encouraged me to give it a try, so...here I am, guys. What you see here is pretty much what you get. I'm a casual, low-maintenance, low-key woman who has reached that point in life where everything falls nicely into perspective. I'm not a "foodie." I don't patronize spas or cosmetic surgeons (although I've found a good hair stylist locally). I would rather carry a plastic bag from Target than a designer purse with someone's initials plastered all over it.
I grew up in the midst of my father's large Jewish family, but mostly I worship at the Church of Baseball. That is also in my DNA. My younger son lives in the District. My older son lives in my house in Florida. I came to this area for professional reasons having friends and a son here was a plus. Not sure where I'll ultimately end up, but I'm pretty much a free agent...and that's exciting.
