About Me
I find true joy and peace in deep daily yoga and meditation practice, and in serving and helping others. I am grateful for my healing profession as a chiropractor or wellness educator, because it allows me the opportunity for self-expression and living on purpose. Another way to bring more fulfillments in my life is to volunteer and facilitate self-development seminars, called "The Art of Living Course", where I teach simple breathing exercises, yoga, and meditation. It gives me so much joy to help people manage their stress more effectively, gain true insights to who they really are, and feel empowered to live their fullest potential.
One of my favorite things to do is to attend spiritual, yoga, meditation, and health retreats in different parts of the world. One of the most memorable trips so far was spending 2 months in India, where I got to see the Taj Mahal, bathe in the Ganges River at the foothills of the Himalayan Mountains, teach chiropractic to Indian doctors, meditate and chant with thousands of people, be in bliss and soaked with knowledge and grace from my spiritual teacher His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.... Recently, I visited Vietnam and spent a total of 8 months for humanitarian service. Returning to Vietnam for the first time after 30 years depart was a real enlightening experience for me. It really deepened my respect for the Vietnamese culture and her heritage, and most importantly, enhanced my understanding of myself and my roots.
Last summer was another unforgettable event in my life. I got to participate as one of 500 yoga performers at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin Germany. It was a 30th anniversary celebration for the Art of Living Foundation. I felt so much love from everyone around me and truely experience the sense of belongingness with everyone around the world, the sense of ONENESS, One World Family.
According to the Eastern philosophy, there is a body/mind connection, where our thoughts and emotions affect our health. Vice versa, the nutrients and chemicals inside our bodies can alter our state of mind. With that understanding, I do my best to take good care of my physical health and well being through a healthy lifestyle, good nutrition, yoga, exercise, and positive and calm state of mind through daily meditation and breathing exercises. I hope to be a good influence on people around me with that aspect.
Once you get to know me, you will find that I am a very good listener and a compassionate, generous, and loyal friend. I am very intuitive and have developed strong, keen sensitivity and awareness of things and people around me, which are fortunate gifts that allow me to be very good in my healing profession. I enjoy Nature, music, and the Arts. I am young at heart, playful, very spontaneous, simple, and down-to-earth.
