About Me

My name is Sarah and I was born in Oklahoma City but lived in Iowa my entire life until I came to Norman for college. I'm currently a Senior majoring in both History and Anthropology with a concentrations in American History and Archaeology. I've always loved history, especially American history and politics. You can always catch me watching the History Channel or the news. I'm a super kind and empathetic person who loves putting others before myself. I love to cook. I make everything homemade from scratch. I would spend all my time in the kitchen if I could. I especially love cooking for other people. I just can't get enough of the compliments! Family is the most important thing to me. I always put family before friends. I'm obsessed with all things vintage. I go to garage sales and estate sales all the time to find a good steal on something vintage. However, my vintage love also includes movies and music. I'm in to the oldies, but that doesn't mean I don't like modern things. I'm probably the girliest tom-boy you'll meet. I love sports, especially football. I love hiking, shooting, canoeing, weightlifting, etc. But I also love shopping, decorating, fashion. One minute I might be cheering on my favorite Steelers or Sooners wearing sweatpants and getting nacho dip all over my jersey, and the next minute I'll be all dolled up in a nice dress with some cute jewelry and pink peep-toe pumps. I'm a very ambitious person who is both family and career driven. I'll do what it takes to get what I want in life. I have a lot of determination and wit. I am wise and caring. I am looking for someone who is career driven and also knows what they want out of life and who is looking for a companion to share their life's happy moments and sorrows with. And before I close I thought I'd mention that while I was in Israel I lost 20 lbs. and I'm working on losing more!
