About Me

Larry David came for dinner at my best friend’s house when I was in middle school, but sadly I didn't realize who he was so I opted to go home to do homework. (I know, I know...you don't have to say it – it’s a Seinfeld episode in and of itself.) I think it’s nice to be a regular at the local deli. It's sort of like Cheers - where eveybody knows your name. I also eat ice cream with a fork, a little unusual, but my grandpa used to eat it this way so I guess I picked up the habit, or maybe I’ll call it a tradition, and pass it down to someone else one day. I also have an affinity for dark chocolate covered almonds and have found, after many of a taste test, that Duane Reade carries the best ones in the city. Boxing is a great workout. I am no Muhammad Ali but I do know a few combinations. I also actually enjoy live sporting events, not so much because I know all the rules to the games, (I could use some help in this area), but because of the energy of a stadium. I have travelled to many resort destinations all over the US - my former life as an event planner took me to some amazing places both here and abroad. I am definitely looking forward to a travel partner and hope to see some far off lands that are on my bucket list in the near future. I love to paint - just finished a few canvases that are hanging in my apartment. I was an elementary school art teacher for a bit and recently a few of my students contacted me. They were my 5th graders and now they are getting ready to graduate college! It was truly inspirational to hear about how I had touched their lives. Life is great…I’d like to share it with someone special. As for what I am looking for...well that's easy...balance. I'd like to meet a man who wants to cherish his woman and be appreciated in return. I am looking for a guy with priorities and goals, yet who knows how to take time out of his schedule to spend it with special someone in his life. The guy I'd like to meet wants to build a wonderful family unit of his own and experience happiness in a partnership. I'm looking to meet a guy where there is trust and communication.
