About Me
The hardest thing about deciding to date is what approach to use I will be the first to admit that online dating can be scary because there are a lot of crazies out there. I believe when one decides to truly begin again you prepare yourself for whatever comes your way. We are all looking for that perfect person or that person that fits the illusion of what we think our perfect mate should be. I believe in stepping outside the box because I think sometimes we keep ourselves and God in a box . He is way too big to contain in a box. He is all outside of the box...He does the unexpected. God laughs when we make lists of what we look for in our ideal mate, and he sends us the opposite of what we request. I realize that I am not everyone's cup of tea, nor they mine. I am the girl who emails everyone who emails me back. In the south it is rude to just ignore people. Plus my just saying "hello" and saying kinds words doesn't cost anything. So what would you like to know about me? I am a brown girl just in case you couldn't tell from the photos... I love the outdoors, I like BBQ year round even if it is could outside. I like fishing, and I attempt playing basketball with my teenagers. I like gardening. I work in government although my degree is in commercial art and advertising. I sometimes love to paint, and I like classical music, some opera, jazz, blues, some country and some r&b. I love cooking, and I am a foodie, someone who can eat something and tell you the ingredients and who can re-create it. I love writing, not profiles though I am creating a blog on religion and relationships. I love my jeans and t-shirts, but I do own stilettos and I can dress up if the occasion arises. I am simple. I am not the girl you can impress with what you have or own, but I do have some materialistic friends who look for those type of guys. I like being impressed by your mind and someone who is true to himself. You only live once, so what would be the one thing you would want me to know about you that's really important? I think we get so caught up in the material that we forget it's one's interior that matters the most. It's the fiber of a man, that makes a man..I am looking for my beshert, someone who is confident, who is secure in his own skin, someone who is mature. Yes we all claim to be but not everyone reaches maturity at the same level. I am looking for someone who can be my new best friend. I believe being a friend is very important. I cant say my ideal mate is baggage free because we all carry baggage. How we resolve it determines if we carry it into our future. I want a man who isn't afraid to walk barefoot in the rain, or get his fingers dirty finger painting. I want that person who isn't afraid to allow his inner child to come out and have fun. ,
