About Me
My friends would describe me as a passionate and driven person who surrounds herself with funny dry-wit humor friends who believe that love can sometimes best be expressed by giving someone a hard time.
I am from dc originally, and left to go to the Midwest for college (go blue!). After graduation, I moved to West Africa for a year where I worked doing womens health related work. Now back in dc I work in public health.
Some of the things that I love the most are: live music, microbrew beer, New Yorker magazine, dudes who aren't afraid of the word 'feminist' but simultaneously can make jokes about the word 'feminist', random big nights out on like a Wednesday (New Years is overrated, right?), learning a city through its food, and of course the obligatory mention of my friends and family.
