About Me
Im from San Diego, California and am a passionate and curious traveler. I lived in Italy for two years. I am especially interested in literature, film, photography, painting, politics and history and speak four languages in addition to English. Im a college Spanish Professor-I teach Latin American literature and culture, film, and Spanish. I greatly value family and friends. I dance salsa (and some bachata and merengue) and many kinds of music, including jazz and blues. Im a big sports fan--baseball and basketball in particular (football and some soccer as well). I enjoy running (gym in winter, park when warm) and also cooking. Im passionate, mature, smart, intuitive, but also fun, playful and have a great sense of humor (if I may say so myself). I wont say any more here because Im a poet at heart and so skeptical of internet dating. I believe in people getting to know each other gradually in person and through moments of discovery. The less time spent on line and the more time talking together the better, I believe.
