Everyday that I open up my eyes, and I have my health, I know that I'm blessed. I enjoy friends, family, interesting conversation, and travel. I'm athletic. I LOVE to play golf, ski, and walk. I read, listen to NPR and love to laugh.
I am an entrepreneur. I didn't finish college––much to my grandmother's chagrin, but I have made plenty of myself just the same. I enjoy being loved by the RIGHT man. I can't think of anything better. I've been married twice and I learned that if you want to stay married, only talk to other people who have been HAPPILY married for at least 20 years. They have true insight!
I'm 55 and I know there is still time for a great love in my life. Not a kinda-sorta we like each other so we're staying together until' we find something better, but a knock your socks off we like each other and enjoy doing things together but we also have our own lives kind of love.
Lastly, I'm African American, though it seems that some people cannot tell from my picture. Go Barack Obama! I am liberal. We live in the greatest country in the world and from where I sit, everyone in it should get a good meal and get a great education in public school. I did.
