About Me
I am a smart and decent woman with an easy smile who is happy and grateful to start the second act of my life in a graceful manner. No one would ever consider me to be a high maintenance kind of gal. In the right circumstances I can be very , very funny....just ask my students and friends but I can be quietly introspective and intellectual too. I am compassionate and passionate about the things and people who matter most in my life. My interests in art, art making, architecture and design,music, history, comedy, gardening and food cast a deep and wide net. I've been know to wield a power tool from time to time as well as a paintbrush. I am leather and lace, soft serve on a hot summer day but no pushover. There is nothing better than getting out into the woods on an autumn day, walking a sandy beach at sunset or working among flowers with bees buzzing in the spring. My bookshelves exhibit an eclectic mix. I am always looking for the creative solutions in life. I would definitely consider myself green in regards to environmental issues and concerns but am not politically active at this time.
