About Me

I recently moved to Astoria and am enjoying the diverse, always developing neighborhood. I have cool friends, an awesome career, and many passions/interests, + love would be fantastic. People often tell me I am intelligent, kind and sweet, but I do have an edge. I'm affectionate, loving, sensual, down to earth and comfortable to be around (i.e easygoing). I love electronic music more than most people I have met, but it would be nice to change that. Can't forget my rock, metal, and goth roots though! Began playing drums at 12 and have played in many bands. These days I play kits on occassion since I not own one anymore, and enjoy jamming with my hand drums. Started djing at 16. I produce in my spare time using Ableton Live. Oh yeah, and I can't sing but love karaoke! :D Yes, I also love travelling. Most recently to Costa Rica. It's fun to forget what day it is sometimes. My top travel wish list is currently India, New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, Colorado (never been there!), Argentina and Peru. I enjoy being active, exercise regularly, and get outdoors as much as possible when it's not too cold. I enjoy taking long walks around NYC. I love most sports and am interested in learning how to snowboard and surf. I love escaping the city to be in nature and am often called a hippie (is that a dirty word?) since I keep it natural. (I do smell great though and take excellent care of myself.) Dining out around NYC is always fun because there are so many great spots! I also appreciate good (non-hoppy) beer, cocktail, whiskey, bourbon or scotch, Movies are fun, especially on rainy days. I like to pretty much do it all! I LOVE dancing. Especially at open air festivals in the warmer weather. I need a good NYC dance night every now and then for therapy. I enjoy art and drawing. Have a deep appreciation for symmetry and fractals in nature. I create mandala drawings and will make you one if I fall in love with you. Interested in anything science, especially physics. Let's see what else . . I'm somewhat techy, am attracted to geeks and free thinkers/spirits. I am passionate about coffee (1 cup a day though:) and tea. My cat Nushi is my favorite living being. I do not usually wear make-up unless it is some kind of fun event.
