About Me
I graduated from Cornell in May 2012 with a degree in Government, and attended United States Navy Officer Candidate School. I'm currently stationed in Norfolk, VA as a Surface Warfare Officer. I joined the Navy because I didn't want a "9 to 5" like most of my friends - I wanted adventure, challenge, excitement, the opportunity to lead, work hard, and feel a sense of reward at the end of the day, and a sense that I've contributed to something greater than myself. I absolutely love what I do and feel privileged to do it. Outside of the Navy, I love politics and am very dedicated to my friends, and to my fraternity brothers. I really, really value loyalty. I respect intellect and professionalism and can be pretty judgmental of those I feel don't live up to those values. I suppose I can be confrontational and abrasive at times, too.
