About Me

I love being outside biking and hiking and exploring all the different neighborhoods in the city. I enjoy checking out new restaurants & bars from the corner tavern to trendy. I can have as much fun at a dive as at a black tie event & have been known to do both in one night. I think you are never too mature to have fun and love all kinds of street fairs and live music. I like bluegrass, indie rock, as well as classic rock, and like being exposed to new bands. I am more the type who works to live as opposed to live to work. I think being funny, silly and loving to laugh are some of the most attractive traits a guy can have. Though having integrity, and being affectionate, thoughtful, and sarcastic are awfully high up there also. And nothing hotter than kindness and I find nothing more of a turnoff than a player. I am tolerant of most things except for narrow mindedness & like people who mean what they say and say what they mean. But no matter how perfect someone is on paper if I am not attracted to them unfortunately it doesn't matter! I tend to be described as a bit quirky or goofy & definitely can laugh at myself. On the downside I can be annoyingly reliable & punctual & I am a a bit of an honesty freak. I am more the practical than spiritual type and think the most important part of religion is the part about how to treat people. But I can appreciate the value people get out of the rituals. I am on the definite left politically. I am high energy and on the go a lot but I still enjoy hanging at home reading the paper or a good book or watching some bad tv (though never reality shows) once in a while. I don't really think to be in a good relationship you have to have everything in common and relish leaning about things from someone with different interests or a different background. I think similar values are much more important that common hobbies though at least a little of both is ideal. If you are good at things I am mediocre at such as singing or writing I will be impressed. I think good manners & respect for everyone is the best way to go through life
