HI THERE. Personality is so many things but suffice it to say I have many contradictions in mine which make me unique(just as you are of course). People who know me best privately or at work, for instance understand that I like to make people "crack up" as we used to say in NY. I will often do it in an unexpected setting , often in a stuffy environment, such as a hospital board room or within earshot of some super uptight person who would never expect it. I try to provide light comedy and of course I don't succeed every time(AWKWARD!!!). Hey , C'est la guerre. If they can't take a joke..... you know. On the other hand I am extremely compassionate and very "feeling" or caring for lack of a better word here, toward others and their pain and plight. It helps me take care of people in my work.(adults and kids) and help them find their way out of the misery with hope and understanding. When appropriate, I use humor in my work.
I therefore like to have fun to get through a very long and difficult work day which is quite often emotionally draining. Believe me, I can be quite serious and respectful, and some folks don't even get to see my fun side because it just isn't right for them to or if they just wouldn't get it, particularly outside of work. It's like you have to come from a certain place culturally or intellectually/exper ientially to appreciate/ identify with Larry David in Curb Your Enthusiasm. I am quite sensitive to people and their feelings, but there are moments where you may wonder why I said something which may have seemed slightly off color or perhaps tangential to the immediate context of the conversation. I am mellowing a bit with time but still like to have a little edge which makes me how shall we say, "not boring".I hope!!
I'd like to find a wonderful young at heart and body woman who also is interested in a mutually fulfilling emotional and passionate relationship, which can stand the test of time. I would like to think of myself as quite interested in the other person's happiness as a priority in all the aforementioned areas and hope that she would also consider mine with the same importance. Isn't that what love is all about? Finally, no surprise I am a giver and believe that the ideal relationship(fantasy here) is where there is equal giving and taking , I call it symmetry, others call it reciprocal. That is so important in all contexts-- physically/emotional ly and esp the unselfishness that is a critical but tricky ingredient. Balance is key here for this to work within ourselves and with one another. Well, I had no idea what I would write here,Thanks for listening, and good luck out there!
