About Me
People describe me as petite, with short, curly brownish-grey hair. When I was young I was called "cute". I like to think I am a good listener, like getting to know people, and hope that I am compassionate. I enjoy meaningful conversations about what the other person is interested in. I enjoy discussing plays and movies I have seen, books I have read, and learning about other people's tastes in books. I enjoy going to concerts, especially chamber concerts, and folk concerts, and symphonies too, and occasional jazz concerts. I am a strong supporter of almost everything at the annual Spoleto Festival. I love going to classes at the College of Charleston. I admire all kinds of artists, and they have become good friends. I enjoy living in Charleston, SC., and don't miss the big city life of my past. I like walking on the beach. I also like to think I had a good marriage. My husband of 55 years was my best friend, and I am looking to establish another strong friendship with mutual respect and admiration, which I realize will take time to grow.
