About Me
I've been retired (by choice) for some time, do volunteer work and manage my personal and financial affairs.
I think I'm somewhat funny, somewhat idiosyncratic and somewhat unconventional. The position that I retired from was Managing Director of a summer school of art, and I think that speaks to my point of view, half way between the world of practical concerns and the creative world.
I believe in investing my time and resources in causes I care about.
Experience has shown me that I'm reasonably good at dealing with adverse circumstances.
Depending on the situation, I can lead or follow.
I have a curious, analytical disposition. I love to problem-solve and figure out how things work. I'm good at (and enjoy) making and fixing things. (I'm a handy guy to have around.)
I have a good life, but I know it would be better if I had someone to share it with.
