I love Nelson and my life!
I ski several times a week, bike, swim, mountain climb, Crossfit etc.
If I'm not adventuring in a foreign country or the backcountry I am planning my next one. My favorite hobby is travel. I usually travel off the beaten track to impoverished countries to help in any way I can. I have volunteered in Uganda, Haiti and Guatemala. I am currently interested in a longer volunteer project in the Dominican Republic and Haiti. My dream is to work in Canada for a few months, then travel and volunteer for a few months. I own a home in Nelson and plan to turn it into a two suite rental property to generate income and give me a stable place to live when I'm in town. Having said that I also like the good life, nice hotels to clean up in, good quality food and good scotch.
I work at more than 4 different part-time jobs but I still find plenty of time for extra-curricular activities. I own a medical clinic, a methadone clinic, have a clinic in LVR High School and work at several Emergency Departments. I also do several other medical things that I don't want to bore anyone with.
