I like science, photography, old Woody Allen's movies and road biking. I admit it, I’m not great at small talk. I always seem to delve into meaningful discussion, and usually concentrate on one person at a party as opposed to mingling. This focus helped me to succeed professionally and to raise my only son into a wonderful young adult. I grew up abroad, moved to America twenty years ago, and still appreciate an international sensibility. My work is somewhat analytical, but I find a creative outlet in street photography. I love the pure joy of getting that perfectly timed shot, the unpredictability of the moment, and capturing human emotions that are so transient. I just returned from Paris and Nice, and before that, spent some time in majestic Patagonia – with my NIKON. One of the biggest pleasures was wandering the outdoor markets in Old Town Nice – eating, drinking strong coffee, interacting with strangers, shooting pictures. The only thing better would be to have a significant other to share these experiences with (and to feed the pigeons for that perfect shot!) But seriously, when we’re together, we would appreciate even the little things, like coming home and cooking together. We wouldn’t need to say much, we would just have that quiet confidence that we are there for each other.
