I grew up on Long Island and am currently working in the Bronx. I'm a very relaxed person but at the same time passionate and enthusiastic about the things I care about. I'm ambitious, down-to-earth and appreciate the little things and am looking for the same. I love going on cruises (next one in December 2013), regular trips to Yankee stadium, and my annual summer camping/hiking trip with my oldest and closest friends. I don't sing karaoke - I perform karaoke - which makes it 10 times more fun for me and the crowd. I have a diverse group of favorite shows, and my to-be-seen list now has 12 titles on it, but I can only watch one series at a time from start to finish so I can follow the storyline (and actually finish the series). I like a healthy debate on a political topic every once in a while, but Israel and anything that directly affects my work is a touchy subject for me, so political junkies beware! Unless of course we agree, then we can have a heated argument at the television together. I am a recovered newsaholic after all! Most of my furniture is from Ikea, but I'm hoping that will change some day soon. That being said, I think I put together my new apartment pretty well, complete with a proud display of my Nursery School Diploma given on June 16th, 1990 (yep, still have it). I'm Jewish and Israeli... beyond that I observe the big 4 holidays (Rosh Hashannah, Yom Kippur, Hannukah and Passover) and have been to Israel more than 10 times - I lost count around 12-13 or so. Most of my extended family lives in Israel, but I'm not so close to them... only exception being my sister who recently moved. I'm not super religious, but am patriotic enough to own an Israeli (and an American) flag.
