I'm an "Aliyah Hadesha!" My son and I made Aliyah in early August, 2014. My son will be attending the Walworth Barbour American International School. The short reason for moving back to Israel is the following: my son wants to be close to his father and his very large extended family, and I don't have a big family in the USA.
ABOUT ME: I love to travel--and I'm well traveled myself. I'm fascinated by our world's cultures and its people. My dream is to do a safari in Africa. Some of my experiences in travelling consist of living in Israel for one year, trekking the Himalayas in Nepal, trekking Manchu Pichu Inca trail, and doing volunteer work at the Mother Teresa Foundation in India--but I haven't done a safari. I would love to see Greenland and Mongolia one day, too. I haven't been to those places either. In short, I'm a passionate person that has learned a lot through my personal experiences. I also know that no one is perfect in this dynamic world, yet we are all human whose wants and needs are basically the same. I also believe that people are generally good ,who care about living a peaceful life, despite the political problems our world is currently facing at this time.
Lastly, I do love opera, theater, authentic cuisine and world music. I'm the kind of person that likes elegance, being outdoors, and living a very healthy lifestyle. I run six miles, three times a week--in short, I'm not a yoga person.
As you can read in my profile, I'm not a country club gal or a resort Izod prep. I do LOVE to ski, and I take my son skiing once a year. We've gone to Jackson Hole, Wyoming for four years. This year, my son and I skied Beaver Creek. We've been to Vail, Aspen, Deer Valley, Park City and Telluride. Now that we are moving to Israel, I'll be able to take him to the Swiss Alps!
