I can be fun and I can be serious - and I think I have learned when to act in each role. I have been active my entire life I am now 70 and neither see a need nor have a desire to slow down. I have filled my time with seemingly unconnected activities. People who have worked for and with me have said that i have done a lot of different kinds of "stuff." Since I retired to an island in the Gulf of Mexico, I still have not learned how to say 'NO' so I spend a large amount of time doing volunteer work. If possible I think I would like to learn how to just relax. I like to travel, but dislike airports, so i drive most places when possible That is not to say that I do not fly, but the journey should be worth the hassle. I've gone to Central America, Europe, Israel, and Canada, and have developed favorite places to visit, but I am also very open to going to new and different places.
One of my academic areas happened to have been behavior (human.) I have been wondering how/why women who have signed up for this service are not willing to check their messages to see if anyone has contacted them. I have noticed this happens often - how do these people expect to make contact with anyone unless they respond to messages? If I wanted another degree, research in this area might be both rewarding and revealing.
