I'm a single mom of a delightful little boy: a true mensch, a math genius who is funny and creative and manipulative and sweet and darling and a pain in the tusch. He is my life.
I've discovered that it's important to too many people around here to know the following facts about me:
*I own two pairs of shoes- sneakers and hiking boots.
*I do NOT have a gym membership.
*I do not own nor ever plan to own a ballgown, makeup, or high heel shoes.
*My politics lean very very far to the LEFT.
I am searching for someone who will love me not despite my eccentricities, but because of them.
I teach special education mathematics at the college level, and privately tutor B'nai Mitzvah students. I'm also a shaliach tzibor at my shul. I am most definitely Reconstructionist, and my community at my shul is my family.
In JDate's little test thingy I am very strongly Blue. Very very strongly Blue. I will give anything and everything to someone who is kind and caring and gentle and patient and cherishes me with all his heart. I am compassionate and passionate to a fault.
I love to read and to write and to sing and to garden and to teach and to care for my little boy. I adore the mathematical study of the structure of the universe.
The small things in life are the most important to me. A gentle touch. A small kindness. When my little guy learns a new set of spelling words, or my students suddenly understand a lesson with which they've been struggling up until now. My favorite students are the ones that struggle the hardest to make the smallest improvements, are tenacious, and never give up.
I'd love to hear from you, to learn what makes you tick and to share more of me with you, too.
