I'm starting over. And I think it's going to be good.***
I just came out to my family and some friends - it went fine. In some cases, kind of funny. I'm in the process of ending my 26-year marriage - that couldn't possibly go "fine," but it has been as painless as a painful experience can be. I spent much of January moving into an apartment, which went better-than-fine because I spent a lot of time with my 20-year old daughter, who helped with choosing the apartment and with the decorating. We had a great time.***
Right now, I consult to corporations in digital marketing, but I'm looking for a position in a company. Consulting can be lonely.***
Am I looking for a long-term relationship? Ultimately, yes. Absolutely. Am I ready for one now? No. Not really. I've started by building up another group of friends. Finding out what it's like to finally be myself among guys with whom I can do that. I've met a couple so far and I'm really enjoying meeting new people and expanding my "horizons."***
