About Me

I never realized how truly difficult it is to write about "who you are" or "what you're looking for". Seems like it would be a simple answer, but quite the contrary. So heres my best attempt: I am from Long Island, NY and moved down to this area for undergrad (Go Terps!). After I graduated, I got a job in VA and decided to stick around. Most of my family still lives in NY but I have one older sister that lives nearby in MD. Family is very important to me so I try and see her every week. I also have a one year old niece who I am absolutely obsessed with. Probably why I try and visit my sister so often. I am extremely persistent. When I set goals for myself, I will strive to my fullest potential to accompish that. I am always looking for ways to make myself "better" whether it's challenging myself intellectually, working out harder, or eating healthier. I am a huge fan of the Food Network, so I am always up for trying a new restaurant or cooking something new. In a guy, I am looking for similar qualities. I truly believe that you are influenced by those you are around. I want to surround myself with someone who is motivated, determined, intellectually stimulated, and has a positive outlook on life. Someone who has no drive is not someone I can be with. I have a full-time job and am mentally preparing for grad school this Fall, but when I am not working I love to work out, go out with friends, go to the movies, play the piano, play poker, or simply just put on a movie and hang out with a nice bottle of wine. Does anyone want to share a bottle of wine with me?
