I am a quirky, artistic, Cultural Creative. I'm also petite and down-to-earth. I'm bright, broadly educated, and I'm interested in learning. I'm an activist who believes in doing, not just signing petitions. So, I garden, compost, save and share seeds, recycle, save and harvest water (when it rains in this desert). I'm not just concerned about the honeybees, I keep bees, and I grow a pollinator habitat for the honey bees and the myriad of native bees.
My interests and aptitudes are broad. I attended engineering schools and art schools when in college. I'm interested in arts, sciences, spirituality, Judaism, food, and permaculture - which seems to really encompass everything.
I love food, growing it, cooking it, preserving it, fermenting it, and sharing it with others. I enjoy making things - knitting, sewing, baking, drawing. I always have projects inside and outside that keep me busy. I enjoy going out - to eat, see a play, hear music, go to yard sales and thrift shops, see art, hike/walk or bike. I sit still sometimes too!
I like yoga, biking, walking, hiking. Just don't ask me to be a running or skiing partner. I will happily knit all day in a ski lodge and enjoy hot cocoa.
