I'm a geek. I love math jokes and and I care about grammar and I read science fiction and I love the logic of halacha. And along with that, I'm a literalist.
I'm an idealist. I'm going to do what I think is the right thing no matter what the rest of the world is doing. I declare the income I make from tutoring. I return the extra money when i'm given too much in change.
I'm an INTJ, if that means anything to you.
I'm a mother and grandmother. I love my children and grandchildren more than anything. They are my world.
I'm a close friend to a few people. My friends support me, and laugh with me, and advise me, and comfort me, and I do the same with them.
I'm politically liberal.
I'm a halachic Jew. Call me Orthodox, call me observant, call me frum...I'm not concerned about the label. I am committed to observing the halacha, and to continuing to learn it so I can observe it better. But that doesn't mean I'm machmir for the sake of being machmir. And my rabbi follows the Rav, so (for example) I shower on YomTov.
