About Me

Ma Shlomech? Hello my name is Jeremy, i was raised in a liberal Jewish family. I began studying to live an observant life when i became a part of the Lubavitch community some 6 years ago. About a third of the way into my journey i discovered that in light of halachic issues with my family I was not in fact born Jewish. At this point my focus changed to joining the jewish people as a convert with the help and support of my beloved friend, teacher and Shliach of the Rebbe Rabbi Levi Yitzach ben Zalman Yuda OBM. It has been a great task and a true work of love. However for a long time for reasons I was unable to control and that i will not share publicly, this wonderful journey was delayed. Now however, i have been released from this situation and I am eager to quickly finish my conversion. I cannot stress enough that torah observant women should remember that you may not, nor would i ever suggest or allow considering me as marriage material until my conversion is completed. As for non-observant woman, although i am born jewish according to all but Torah Judaism and most important to point out, according to Ha' Kodosh Baruch Hu. You must understand that I am faithful to Hashem and the entire Torah, and nobody born to a non-Jewish mother, no matter how many Jews insist she is Jewish, can actually join the nation of Israel by any other means or a lesser commitment. Which incidentally, is the very reason i was not born Jewish. I am not unwilling to talk to or consider dating any Jewish girl so long as they are open to the idea of a real Jewish life. I do sincerely believe that every jew has at the core of their being the uncontrollable desire to so serve Hashem and keep the Torah but trying to insist that i was born Jewish or trying to say any part of the torah is not true will NOT be a mark in the win column, and our relationship will go only as far as your commitment to the Torah does.
