About Me

As I was sitting in traffic during the last few days of December, I started thinking about my last decade . . . the good and bad . In 2006 I took early retirement from my 21-year-job. I sold my house and moved to a condo in a suburb of Atlanta. After moving in I joined a social newcomer's club and became active. I met and have made friends with lots of new women and have kept busy. I re-learned how to play mah jongg and play once a week. I volunteer at the Georgia Aquarium, and spend time with my 95-year-old mother in assisted living. I go to movies, plays, concerts, antique malls and try different restaurants. When I want to read I go to Borders, get a cup of coffee, sit down and enjoy a good book. I also do water aerobics three times a week. All is well with me. However, the one thing I miss is being able to share all the good and bad (yea, we all have it, and it makes the good so much better) with someone. So, that brings me to updating my ad. I am looking for someone to be a friend, companion and lover, in that order. I love to laugh and make others laugh. I am easy to get along with and a great listener. I also wish to state that I look much better in person than my picture indicates. To sum it up, I am fun, feisty, independent, self-reliant, a good listener, and a lover of animals and the great outdoors. I clean up beautifully but prefer casual. I have been divorced for 20 years and have remained on good terms with my ex-husband. I am neither an optimist nor a pessimist, I am a realist. I don't care if the glass is half full or half empty, just fill the darn thing! One more thing, if all you want is cyber or phone sex, do not contact me. Don't waste my time.
