I'm a professor/author.... I teach American History in gorgeous Malibu, which is great fun... I love the students and I love talking about America... a wonderful, miraculous country. I love music, theater, ballet, opera, travel, books, exercise, movies...oh, and just a host of other things. I'd write more as it comes to me, but I'm beginning to think that less is more.
I'm intrinsically shy and have been told that I'm sexy and sweet... however, that sweetness is mixed with a slight acerbity... You don't get to this point in life without a slight tang.... The shyness I just admitted to makes me seem initially a touch reserved, however, make me laugh and I'll probably loosen up!! I don't want to apologize about it or put it out there as a negative personality trait...I think that we all have reservations and our defenses up when we make first contact, and well we should. We need to proceed openly but with a little caution.
I've been a Westsider most of my life and love it here. I lived abroad for several years and swore when I came back that I would never complain about L.A. again, however, I was smart enough to make the corollary that I could complain about the traffic and have stuck to that.
I do wonder if time travel is possible.
