About Me

I grew up exposed to many cultures. I spent most of my early childhood in Europe and moved to the USA when I was about 14 years old. I speak a few languages (Spanish, English, French, some Italian and I understand Portuguese). It was easy for me to get excellent grades at school because of my scholastic upbringing. I had the honor of graduating in the upper 10th percentile of my class in both High School, and later College/University. I have two Master degrees which helped me land great jobs in the broadcast/communicat ions industry. I worked very hard to achieve a rather comfortable lifestyle which affords my family many good things. I absolutely enjoy learning all about scientific discoveries and modern technology. I should have chosen a career in science but I decided for entertainment because it was faster and very lucrative :-). Parallel to my formal education I attended singing classes in NYC with private teachers and, as an outside student, at the Julliard School of Music. I pursued my career in the broadcast/communicat ions industry but have never stopped singing. Still do from time to time, and love it!!!!. I have three wonderful children (2 boys and a girl) who are all on their own "God Bless them!!"....and doing very, very well. I spend most of my time now doing consulting in my field of expertise and directing very complex family businesses. For pleasure, I enjoy a series of interesting activities: traveling (goes without saying), learning new opera roles, trying to outdo my gardener by keeping my exotic plants in excellent shape (my orchids are not blooming though), exercising five times per week for no less than an hour and a half . I read a lot and I do spend time searching for new titles and reading on my newly acquired Kindle Fire (what an invention!!). Since I live in Miami, and the purpose of moving down South was mainly to enjoy the weather and be near the ocean, I do go to the beach as much as possible.. I can spend an entire Saturday afternoon at Fairchild Tropical Gardens walking around and photographing the amazing variety of plants, birds and flowers one can find there. I am a member and also attend most of their events. I just want to add that I would love to meet someone who is easy going and loves life. It would be even better if you get along with everyone in your life, including your ex. I don't deal well with drama or constant tribulations. If you are that kind of guy, maybe we should meet and see what happens. I would like to have a friend first and then move on to the next level when and if the time is right
