"We don't stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing. Youth is a wonderful thing. What a crime to waste it on the young." (GBS) Four days a week, I am a practicing attorney and mediator, specializing in family law, who also manages real estate which I have acquired in the Historic District of Annapolis. In my spare time (which I hope to expand), I love taking trips to places near and far--including a lake house I recently acquired in New Hampshire. I also enjoy digital photography (mostly of my children and grandchildren) reading, listening to music, quiet times sitting on a sofa in front of a fire with the special person in my life, drinking a good glass of red wine, and having dinner at a nice restaurant or going to a show or concert. I am very physically active and, almost daily, I am engaged in some form of physical exercise-- working out, spin biking, walking, biking outside and, when the weather is good, I kayak several times weekly on the Chesapeake Bay or Severn River. I consider myself to be a devoted son to my 97 year old and very active mother a loving and caring parent to my two beautiful and very special daughters and an adoring and proud "G-Pop" to my six wonderful and (of course) adorable grandchildren, the oldest of whom is eight. My family comes first and is "everything to me". I would love to find that special someone who shares my view of the cosmos and with whom I can communicate in every way. That person would enjoy spending time with me and sharing all the wonderful things that life has to offer while, at the same time, retaining her own identity and not feeling compelled to abdicate who she is or what she does because of a committed relationship. I have been described as, and believe that women consider me to be, an attractive man who looks and has the attitude and energy of a man far younger than his chronological age.
