About Me
Creative, calm, philosophical and comfortable spending most of my time outdoors. Full of stories about living in North Africa or on the Tugboat Pennacook, at the foot of the World Trade Towers. An attribute, that others appreciate, is my ability to create, build or fix anything. Humor is always important; sometimes sarcastic, like the NY Observer and sometimes Simpson's silly. I'm still searching for someone to grow old with; someone who can add meaning to each day, until then. In my free time I sail sail, sail, ski, paint watercolors, rockclimb, row, visit remote hotsprings or fancy spas. I have a curious side, when it comes to spiritualism, and have investigated its more tangible aspects; mind/body awareness .and by truly experiencing the natural world; the open ocean to icebound mountain peaks. I've learned many types of meditation, several types of massage; Watsu, and Tantra. I'm feeling a little embarrassed, now, so I'll leave it at that. One other thing; and I must tread lightly here; my Jewish brethren, including my own Harvard professor brother, while intelligent and witty, are rarely "tough". I was raised in a quiet but very masculine way. The advantage, or so I'm told, is that, in a basic way, people feel physically safe around me. And I have "been there". So, I know that they are. But, I'm also the kind of guy who has faithfully mastered his Grandmother's chicken soup recipe. ADDENDUM: One of my sisters thinks it's important to mention that, like our father, I work mostly at a home office/shop. And a recent girlfriend feels that, relatively, I cook a lot, and a most of it is really rich stuff...and too spicy. Oh..and I juggle fruits, vegetables, and canned foods, when I cook. I'm not sure how that's relevent.
