I NOW LIVE IN CAPE MAY NEW JERSEY. First of all I would like to thank you for sharing some of your personal time to read my profile. Profiles are sometimes very interesting, but they do take both emotional and intellectual energy to read, and for that I thank you again. My friends tell me I am complex and multi-faceted, I like to think I am simple. I am an amateur foodie, and can actually cook a few things. I enjoy fine dinning and quality cinema. I am an amateur gardner and animal lover. My friends tell me that I am a "blue dog democrat", it sounds so much better than "commie" or "pinko", so I have gratefully accepted the title. I like to snorkel, and hike. I like Mexican food. I am in the process of perfecting a "kosher style" beef tamale. I am an amateur writer of fiction and an amateur political analyst. I have a small column that is read by a diverse audience. I really enjoy places like LP in Chicago, SS in Philly, and BR her in Indy. I love to get away to the family cabin in WV. I like old advertising, classic leather furniture, I essentially deplore high tech gadgetry, although I take delivery of the new Iphone4 in a week or two, (ironic). My heart longs for things that are simple with short learning curves, but I am continuously moving forward to the future both personally and professionally. I find it one of lifes struggles to decide what to keep and what to throw away. This is an art I have yet to perfect, and it is evident in many areas of my life, I am not sure whether this is a personal flaw, or a credit. I really need a grounded and loving woman to help me navigate through and hopefully enjoy the minutia and the zenithia that life presents. I could go it alone, I am going it alone, but life would be much sweeter if it could be earnestly shared with a soulmate. Maybe it is sappy and forensicly romantic, but I really still believe that if two people work hard at a marriage they can farm and harvest the sweetest fruit as their reward.
