About Me
A few years ago I finished a master's program at CU's journalism school, but school was never my forte. I prefer learning on my own. Now I work as a substitute teacher, enjoying the freedom it offers. I just got off my fourth 3-week rafting trip through the Grand Canyon in the past six years and I will soon begin my tenth summer as a raft guide in Fort Collins. If you can't already tell, I love rivers. But I also ski and bike and hike and my newest obsession is a Crossfit gym, which I try to hit up at least three times a week. I'm constantly reading all kinds of media and playing some serious Scrabble (I'm a nerd). I'm really into politics and good movies. I like to play golf and basketball and pub trivia. A friend once called me "pseudo-intellectual ," because I'm torn between a desire to be academic and the class clown at the same time. There's a quick rundown for you. Dan Fleishman
