Traveling across Morocco, I was mistaken repeatedly for a Spaniard. In London and then again in Asia, I was an Italian apparently. Go figure. Really, like many of us on this site, I'm just the typical Ashkenazi mix and just a nice Jewish guy who has swallowed his pride and has gone online to meet a nice Jewish girl.
I've been in Manhattan for almost four years. Before NYC, I was in DC, then San Fran and finally a cross-country U-Haul trip brought me to Philly for business school.
I work in finance, which can require long hours at times, but I balance that with going out when I can, skiing in the winter, and sailing around the Cape and the Vineyard on the weekends in the summer. I hate the idea of a “staycation” – when I can get away, I like to travel far. I’ve skied in 6 countries, once crossing the Swiss-Italian border at 11,000 feet, and seen 6 of the 7 continents (only Australia is missing). The most memorable trip was probably the week spent trekking across Antarctica.
