About Me
I am a musical spirit (my ipod/iphone has everything from Howlin Wolf to Mozart to bluegrass to Nirvana) with a passion for the performing arts. When I have time, I read books on many diverse topics (just read John Adams biography, Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter, Ozzy Osbourne’s autobiography). I can spend all day cooking and watching movies I(I love movie fests), but I don't mind going out and exploring Chicago whether it is a museum, restaurant or a new store. After visiting the Aquarium and a stop at Starbucks I can easily spend the evening watching The Tudors and Jackass. Always adventuresome, I have lived on my own in Chicago since, the age of 18 and I have a zipcar membership, so one of my new obsessions is to drive around Chicago, or at least pretend to know where I’m going. I play the piano a little and when i'm the mood or especially confident I play my violin, that I've had since 5th grade. I completed a degree in performing arts management at Columbia College in 2007 and am working on a bachelors in economics at Northwestern. I have a passion for animals and enjoy long walks around the Zoo (the gremlin looking monkeys and the red panda are my favorites). Lately, I've developed a really bad addiction to buzzfeed, which isn't that bad since their posts make me laugh. Anything with animals hooks me in.
