I recently moved back to Chicago for a great new career opportunity after living away for the past 4 years. I'm excited to meet some new people and to take advantage of all this great city has to offer.
I work hard, but play hard too and understand the need to have balance between the two. I've reaped the benefit of that hard work by appreciating the finer things in life, while remaining down to earth and level headed. I'm sweet but a bit sassy, confident but not arrogant, smart, sophisticated and savvy -- but easy going, laid back and I love to laugh and have a good time. I transition easily from wearing jeans and flats at a sports bar watching the Blackhawks to a cocktail dress and heels at a black tie event.
I have a big, diverse group of friends and an equally wide variety of interests including movies, music, theater, museums, sports, reading, shopping, entertaining, traveling, architecture and interior design, cars, taking long walks and engaging in lots of great conversation. I'm a self-proclaimed foodie and seriously into food and wine. I might need to find a support group for those who are addicted to the Food Network! Finding and trying new restaurants has become somewhat of a competitive sport for me and my foodie friends! And I can't start my day without a strong cup of coffee -- don't say I didn't warn you!
I'm very fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel all over the world, but it would've been a lot more fun to have someone special to share all of those amazing experiences with. Oh yeah, and I'm a bit of a news junkie too and think it's important to keep up with current events and what's going on in the world around us.
Bottom line, I'm on Jdate to get off Jdate! I'm so tired of all of my non-Jewish guy friends telling me that I'm a great catch and that if I would just convert to some other religion -- that they would start lining up guys for me! While I'm not overly religious, that unspoken common bond we MOT's share as well as the values, traditions and cultural aspects of our faith have always been important to me and I hope they are to you too!
