I love to learn, I love to work hard, I love to cook, I love to listen, I love to help, I love to explore, I love to share, I love to travel, I love to eat healthily, I love to build, I love to smile at each new morning, I love to play and I love to laugh. I cherish spending time with my kids no matter where we are and what we're doing, cherish time with my family, and cherish time with my friends. We just moved to Bethesda from Vermont, so we're learning all over again how to build and cherish a completely new home and community.
I think that kindness, patience, compassion and understanding are some of the most attractive qualities in a person. I enjoy the process and discovery of my adventures just as much as I enjoy reaching my goals. I see the beauty in just about everything, not only when it's obvious, but even when it's harder to notice. I think having qualities, goals and interests in common with another person is super, but it's also our differences which can give us amazing opportunities to learn about and inspire each other. Our activities that we choose, the languages that we share, the jobs that we have, the lifestyle choices we make, the families we have, all really thrive not in the end only because of what they are, but more so because of how you and I are with each other. I see every day as a blessing. . .the rainy days, the cold days, the warm days, the busy days, the tough days, the easy days, and everything in between. And most importantly, whether you have kids or not, I'd ask that you never stop adoring how deeply and actively I love my kids (who live at home with me on a great, consistent 50/50 schedule).
And you? I can't wait to learn about you! What makes you laugh more than anything else? What challenges you more than anything else? What do you do to treat yourself well? What was the last thing you learned that knocked your socks off?
