About Me
I’m that guy who will leap out of my car to chase down the speeding, wayward shopping cart headed for the vehicle of some unknown person. I can do so at speeds that defy physics. I’m that guy who holds open doors for people even when I’m carrying my large coffee in one hand, a baguette and car keys in the other, the guy who will anonymously shovel the snow from my neighbors walk, offer to put that case of bottled water into the trunk of the struggling senior in the stupidmarket parking lot and, apparently, I'm also the guy who volunteers at the nearby animal shelter and believes chivalry has a pulse. At Giant Stadium (yeah, I think I can call it that again. Sorry Jet fans), I chased down a guy in full Dallas Cowboy regalia who dropped a glove a section or two back. I confess that there are moments when I question that decision!
I try to be aware of my surroundings, as to be considerate to others around me. It’s not selflessness because I’d like to think the good you do will eventually come back to you, in one form or another. I’m personally rooting for it to be in the form of a wonderful woman.
Yes, I’m all these things, and a whole lot more. Oh I’ve got a flaw or two, I’m sure, but for %!#’s sake, why on earth would I detail them here?
I’m a good cookie, a damn good one in fact. I’m a big fan of the “honesty is the best policy” policy. I love good food, cooking it and eating it, but I’ll admit to being more skilled at the later. I love hanging with my small group of close friends and I’m tight with my family. I'm pretty easy going although I love to be active. This includes when I’m on a vacation. Swimming, snorkeling (my back will end up 3 shades darker than my front), bicycling, fishing, camping and hiking are some of my favorite activities. I spend lots of time at the gym, which is something I do as much for my mind as my body. I began practicing yoga in December 2011 and I've been totally loving it. In my down time my guitar can usually be found in my hands, although some within earshot probably wish it wasn’t. If you’ve had your fill of mediocre to lousy cookies, you might want to take a couple of bites of this one. Yeah, that’s a little cheesy sounding but I’ll stick with it for now.
I must confess feeling a bit inadequate not having posted a photo of myself skydiving or kissing a dolphin. I hope this will be overlooked. Don't get me wrong. I'm sure I would smooch a dolphin if I found myself in the right circumstance. You know, soft lighting, soulful music playing and hip deep in ocean waters. I also would jump from a plane if standard aircraft exiting were not a viable option.
