A mensch with an edge, I seek someone to challenge me intellectually, sexually, and Jewishly. I love great film (and bad movies), and good food and drink. A hopeless beer snob, I'm always looking for someone to taste an obscure new brew with. Jon Stewart is my idol, and should be everyone's. Though I will always love Billy Joel and the Dead, lately I've been listening to Ani, Spoon, Baby Teeth, M.I.A., Rihanna, and Glee. I also really dig The State, Joss Whedon, Veronica Mars, Rome, Deadwood, HIMYM, Neil Gaiman, Daily Kos, kitties & the Mets and Giants. I'm filled with pop culture knowledge, and can probably beat you at Jeopardy, but don't know much that's actually useful (law included). I am most often described as passionate, about basically everything, and I try to act as a change agent. I'm both high-energy/intense and laid-back, and have strong opinions, but am willing to change. An ethical hedonist, I ardently believe in sex-positive feminism and queer rights. .my Judaism and nuanced Zionism are important to me, and I'm looking for a partner who feels similarly. I do not affiliate with any particular movement, and am currently striving to redefine my connection with G-d and my religion. I really love cooking shabbes dinner (I make a good stirfry) for friends and drinking and singing into the night. I give good massage and do a mean karaoke "Livin' on a Prayer". Good music brightens the soul.
