Yes, I "hack" computers for a living. But that does not mean I am above doing tech support for mom, nor do I dress all in black and sit in the dark writing software and drinking Jolt. I grew up in New York City, but moved out to Seattle for fresh air, a change of pace, and to a start my own company with a few partners. Seattle's greatest features for me have to be the beautiful scenery and great access to outdoor activities. Two winters agoi I was stuck at home with a broken ankle and spent the whole time thinking about the hikes and backpacking trips i wanted to do. I love to travel and see the world, but it is somewhat lonely doing it on my own with no one to share my discoveries with. When I travel, I love to walk the streets and really see not just the sights but the day to day neighborhoods and activities of the locals. I have never really had a vacation where I just spent all my time playing on the beach. Of course one cannot always be on vacation. When I get home from work most days unless I have plans, I prefer flipping on the TV or watching a movie. My friends and I have a weekly night to watch cheezy martial arts or zombie movies. I try to always spend some time reading before bed, which is why most of my reading material tends towards lighter non-fiction or pulpy (Science Fiction) fare rather than mysteries or more intense fiction. Reading helps me relax and I always have a stack of books and magazines that I need to get to. Sales at Half Price Books could easily be considered my Kryptonite. In a match, I hope to find someone who can get me out of my shell. If you are willing to make an overture and to push me to explore boundaries you will be rewarded with someone smart, caring, and devoted.
