About Me
After a rewarding teaching career, I'm happy to switch roles and become a student again, dipping into the myriad courses offered at local universities in D.C.
I indulge my passion for travel with regular trips to different parts of the U.S. and around the globe.
Love hiking outdoors in all seasons and, despite my Miami blood, switch to cross-country skis when the weather cooperates.. Live theater, classical music and jazz performances, and pro baseball games are a few of my other passions.( Hope you can tolerate my being a Yankees fan.)
My grandchildren teach me to notice the "small stuff" again. ( When have you last tracked the journey of an ant to its hole?) They also motivate me to improve my technology skills. At 5 and 7 they are rapidly gaining on me.
I live a full life, but there is one obvious thing missing: someone to share it with me. I have known what "good" is and am looking forward to finding it again.
